small accounts team, you will be responsible for assisting with the 
implementation of a new accounting system within purchase ledger. Duties will 
include:

Processing invoices including gaining invoice authorisation, 
coding, posting to the nominal ledger, and raising payments.
Assisting with 
the preparation of the fortnightly payment run.
Identifying areas/processes 
that can be improvement and assisting with the implementation of process 
improvements.
Assisting with the transfer of subsidiary purchase ledgers on 
to the new accounting system.
Assisting the Ledger Manager as necessary and

Practice Accountant is needed to join&nbsp;an established accountancy practice
in Bristol.The Practice
Accountant will be working as part of the accounts team with a variety of
duties including:
 

 Managing
a portfolio of clients.
 
 Accounts
preparation for a variety of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
 
 Preparing
management accounts and annual accounts.
 
 Completing personal and corporation tax
computations.
 
 Preparing
VAT returns.
 
 Undertaking
audit assignments.
 
 Liaising
with clients, HMRC and other third parties as necessary.
 
 Supervising
and distributing work to members of staff.
 
Assisting
the partners with the development of the practice.
 

In return this company offers a highly competitive salary of &pound;27,000 - &pound;32,000pa

 ACA,
ACCA or equivalent qualification required; applications from QBE accountants

 Recent

Experience
of undertaking audit assignments is desirable. 
 
 Excellent
communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with colleagues and
clients at all levels. 
 
 IT
literate, knowledge of Sage would be advantageous. 
 
Excellent
